My Filipino Second First Name would be Mannie, because my Dad's name is Mike and my Mom's name is Annie.

Christopher Mannie

Sounds gay.

Intrusive Probing

The ears are definitely sensitive.

My ear is one of my erogenous zones. Do it right and I'll wake up the neighbors. With that said, why the FUCK would I ever what to insert these "hip" ear buds or "canal phones" deep into my head?

They don't stay in. I guess I'm supposed to push them in further? Uhhhh.... They make squishy sounds that I can hear with every detail and I shudder and tremble...

GOD, I just wanted to watch youtube at the cafe, not have an orgasm. WHO thought of these things?

So much... intrusive probing.

I guess if I want a lot of comments I should post more about feeling ugly and being messaged by creepers! Hehe, thanks for the love everyone!

Anhimals: "Too Legit" and I are going to North Berkeley this weekend and I think BOOTIESF! :], but you'll always be my lovah
Best Fiction: Thank you! Though I feel like I write very simply. I guess complex writing should be saved for essays. Velociraptor Rawr!
Vincent: Hehe. That Dino IS cute!
S: Still webcamming? Oh you naughty youngins'. Do you SexT too? Hope to run into on campus, that would be awkward!
Mr. HCI : YAY! Thanks for adding me! :] I feel more a part of the blog community now. =]
Gauss Jordan: At least he's honest. I hate that a lot of the "legit" guys aren't on these sites to begin with. Maybe we should just sit at bookstores, read gay literature and hope our future husbands walk up to us.
Rob : Thank you for your encouragement. It takes a while to get comfortable in your skin, and we do our best to love ourselves for who we are right? Though often we wonder how others view us.
dannie : "looks eventually disappear." then why do we work so hard at trying to make ourselves worthy of something? Eh. I guess, it's nice to feel pretty. Digging your haircut btw!
Chris: "Some of us need to evaluate our self worth via head counts." I really was sad when I only got 4 birthday wishes on my blog! LOL !!
Luuworld : I should wear ties more often then. ^.^ Thanks for the compliment!
P.Nguyen: yeah... it's a love hate relationship that Vietnamese people have for themselves!

Children Beware!

I haven't really dated in a while. I was beginning to wonder if there's something very unattractive about me that repel boys. I don't think I have the best physical features and this is reinforced when folks say I look like such and such. And such and such looks like a dinosaur/horse.

Even with my skin clear, my fashion updated, and gym results showing, I wonder if I would look any better. Joe says I have a commercial smile, Antony says I should keep my bangs because I could sell ad vertising space on my forehead, MoAny reminds me to keep my track jacket zipped so that my gut doesn't hang out. I don't think I'm that ugly. But I have those moments.

I feel at times my personality is inadequate... but I like to make you laugh with my pop culture references. In the back of my mind I am begging that you know what I'm talking about!!

If I'm uninterested, I come off as an obnoxious friend, if I am interested, I come off as a creeper. So I stay neutral. I also know that my lost ambition is unattractive. My confusion, depression, hyperinsomina... boys in their mid twenties are beginning to be more selective. They date with a filter: bad teeth? NEXT! no goals? NEXT! janky car? NEXT! Plans to buy a house? COME HITHER! .... and what you say in your profile becomes so important.. word for word. (That is if you are dependent on your internet social network.)

==

Speaking of Social Networking I got this message off A4A:

No daddies? You are missing out on some great [censored word] from experienced guys that could turn your world up side down. Think about it. Would you forget the daddy thing if you were offered money for it, say 100.

I gagged... the guy is 65 and according to his profile he preys at my local Starbucks checking out the fresh meat or "sweet candy" that walk out of Santa Teresa high school. Omg omg omg. To top it off, he's a retired teacher. He looks like Herbert from Family Guy. HE IS HERBERT FROM FAMIY GUY!.

God, why do I even have a profile? OMG. *CLOSE WINDOW!!!!!!!!*

==

I also got a message from this guy off downelink:
This is random, but I just passed your profile and thought you be a cool person to add and get to know. Anyhow, my name's Andrew, but lots of people call me Philip.

So I responded: What exactly about me do you think is cool? And he never responded. I checked out his profile: "1774 friends." Ridiculous and generic friend request. Who is this kid? And why is he posting child porn.

OMG I should forward his profile to HERBERT!

==

No wonder folks choose to avoid these sites, folks choose to avoid the gay community in general. No wonder people are ashamed and stay in the closet. Pedophiles and social shouldn't-be-shirtless whores galore. Why would anyone want to be associated with this?

Sigh.

==
Anyway

I think I'm going on a date with the guy from my dorms I recently reconnected with (from Dragon, =.=). That's Legit dude. Too legit to quit. Though, I feel like we're going too fast... Huan said, "well, that's your fault Chris, you have to be in control."

I also feel like because he's new(er) to the scene, my negatives and dino-like/horse-like appearance don't matter much to him. *shrugs* But he makes me smile because he's awkward... and "shy." And he's already had a boyfriend and has been dumped. Those are necessary experience points!

Wedlock

This weekend I attended a cousin's wedding.
My parents were giving them a hard time because they felt the groom was disrespectful- he didn't greet them during holiday parties. Tip: ALWAYS say hi to every family member. But he apologized for the misunderstanding and we attended the wedding at a vineyard.

I hated the priest. He was like Mr.Rogers. After every sentence he would say, "that's awesome, isn't that wonderful? fantastic" He was ridiculous, silly and cheesy and I wanted to shoot him so that his body would fall into the grape vines behind him.

I was sort of awkward around family. My family is a show off family... college degrees, musical talent, aspiring careers. To say the least, the other side of the wedding was a little ghetto and we all judged them for it. I had nothing to report, so I stayed quiet.

Michelle was there and I was happy to see her. She was looking fly! Though I had nothing to say. I did not want to remind her of her chemo coming up, so we just exchanged smiles and dance moves on the dance floor. Her presence warmed my spirit, I wish I could have sent her stay strong vibes.

Stay strong Michelle. Go go go!!!!!!!!!!!

My mom is lonely. She feels cold when my dad touches her.
What do I say to that?

I was tongue tied. I felt as if I failed at comforting her. Failed to offer any rational reasoning.
And when I hugged her, she didn't really hug back... she just kept crying.

After chatting with her, I felt like Clinical Psychology may not be the right thing to do. I think that I need therapy and I am far from being in control of my thoughts and emotions; getting paid to help others would be disastrous.

In the back of my mind I was thinking, hoping, that my mom was just having an weak moment. If my parents were to divorce, I would be okay because I'm grown up, I think. And the important thing is that they are happy.

I guess, behind every song that they record, every party that they attend, every 'perfect family picture' that we take.. there is a hidden sadness that no one wants to unveil.

==

One of my cousins suggested that I go through therapy. She said that her therapist suggested that she have a picture of herself in her room to remind her to take care of herself.

It's hard to commit all of yourself for so long. Marriage is a big deal.
When you're committed for so long... sometimes you wish you were selfish and single.

I helped plan Aaron's surprise birthday party. Stressful, but successful.
He's gonna have to tell his coworkers that the decoy party on Sunday isn't happening. I failed to invite them to the surprise gathering. Oops.

"where are the girls?" Aaron's mom asked me. Oops times two!
And I managed to buy a Tres Leches cake that was bit too moist. I went to a Spanish Bakery and made my order to non-English speaker. But it was strange because the English words she did know, she said perfectly.

Darnell told me about this new gay club in San Jose called Velocity at Motif on Wednesday. I used my magical gay powers and rounded up the troops! Woot.

My main concern was the dress code. THIS AINT NO STRAIGHT CLUB! I'm coming wearing a fitted T and CHUCKS, Bitch!

Thank you ThE sooo much for being the DD. Getting home safe is the best gift ever!

Yay! The boys!! Damn MoAny!! You look good!

JK. That's a cocky porn star, TJ Hawke from Falcon Studios. SOMEBODY in my group recognized him immediately. Uh HUh... Porn addict. I asked for a picture and he goes, "don't you want to wait until I go-go dance? In 45 minutes!" What a ding bag. But dude, he's got a serious weapon. The link is pornographic. Yeah, duh.

Aaron's sister provided the fuel to my good time! :D Thanks big sis! And there's Darnell! Finally, we be clubbing together!

BTW Go-go dancers are awkward.
But Aaron's straight friend who was brave enough to come out.. was mesmerized by the "dancing." Looks like we have another one for our team! YES!
