Busted
It's good to do a Google search detox from time to time. Once again I discovered that my blog was linked searching my full name in quotes on google.
Now, I ain't no Tiggah Tigz exposing my junk, but there are some things that I write that I don't want to be associated with my full unique name.
I recommend that you spend time googling your name to see what pops up. Once you find something undesirable, you can submit a request to remove it from the search by visiting here:
https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals
But the change needs to be made from the source url first.
Why the paranoia? I'm just realizing that this is public space and we all need to be cautious.
In addition to being cautious, I also have removed a couple of entries... so if you want the uncensored versions I recommend subscribing ;] to my RSS feeds.
I guess the point is not to get BUSTED. A little exposure is good, but you don't want to be BUSTING at the seams GIRLLLLLL. Roll on!

Hipsters make ugly cool.
Hip Hop Skinny Jeans and a new dance (old actually). This is out of control!
==
I feel like Hipsters are the precursor to mainstream culture by reminding folks of old trends that should or should not be resurrected. They (re)start trends months before it catches on by being more experimental with what their wear and what they listen to. They make mainstream question what ugly is at the time. Most things catch on to mainstream.. . such as skinny jeans, headbands, aviators, vests, suspenders, OKGO but some trends have yet to catch on again- mustaches.
So technically if I wear skinny jeans, I’m not a hipster.. I’m just trendy (or gay, european, urban, filipino... or a jerk). Especially if I buy it from urban outfitters. If I want to be a hipster I’d do something weird with the skinny jean like…. Tie a turtle neck around my waist. Oh.. and cut a hole in it.
Wikepdia and Urban Dictionary have great “definitions.”
I hope this catches on for the hipsters.

My twin Nate made me a playlist for me to listen to at work.
Love it!

Skinny Jeans

This is what happens when you wear other people's clothes.
Wow, my balls couldn't breathe. Never did I think that skinny jeans would be worn casually by guys again.
To mimic style or not to... that is the question.
What do you think?

A lot of San Francisco
San Francisco is an amazing city... I guess that's why I've been going there so often recently.
Thursday.
Got lost in San Francisco. But then Will found us and we had Frjtz in the Mission.
The Cashier suggested- Pears, Cheese, focaccia bread. Delicious. What made it even more delicious was that it was 7 dollars with a dessert and ice tea!
Will inspires me... and made me realize how cynical I've become. That's what life does to you, huh?
Friday.
When ever Sandy comes up to San Jose, she invites me out to GOOD Vietnamese food. Last time was Banh Xeo. This time it was Bun Bo Hue! Central Vietnamese food rocks! We went to her favorite place, but it was okay.. the broth was too clean. I need a lot VietNam dirt in my noodle dishes.
Then off to the Castro. I borrowed a flask.... and wow, what a brilliant idea. Like an unemployed bastard, I asked for a free soda, then snuck into the bathroom where I poured in my middle shelf vodkah! Better than drinking in the car.
My shirt is ridiculously blue. Carl said that I was the first good gay friend he made in the bay area. And of course, now he's leaving for New York. Bastard. He sort of completes a social circle and =/ Ugh, and just when we've warmed up to each other... he departs... to better things.
Hey Alexander Chen, you've been photobombed by LETOPHO at Lime!
I knew it was you!
Saturday
Sandy dragged me everywhere.
Breakfast in the Mission and the Lao New Years Festival at the Civic Center.
I ran into this girl and we both acknowledged each other, "Um.. hey how do I know you??"
"From the last night, the Castro?"
Wow... ooops, this is why I take pictures.
The San Francisco Main Library, back to the Mission and the Sisterhood of Perpetual Self Indulgence... something was going on.
We had a picnic in Dolores park- Watched hipsters dance to electronica while smoking pot and hating on each other. "*Scoff* he's been listening to Justice for an hour.... *scoff, those jeans aren't tight enough... *scoff* I need a Cigarette" All while pushing back their untrimmed bangs. *SCOFFF*
And then we drove to the top of a hill where Sandy's friend had a plot in a community garden.
Ended the trip with terrible El Salvador food, apparently pupusas taste better deep friend.
ooooo.. baby Strawberries.
Monday
Carl, Suegol and I celebrated Monday at the new Bar on Church.
Has anyone seen his balls? They seem to be missing.
I know skinny jeans are in, but good lord... his sperm count must have depleted! Not even the new iPod Shuffle will fit in there.
I drank too much for a Monday. I bought a round, but both Carl and Suegol weren't feeling their drinks... so I drank them. Hmm... Jack in Box's new Sirloin sliders are to die for.

Just Kicking it With the Folks
On Friday my folks invited me out to The Boiling Crab.
My mom is a savage. She tore up the crab with her hands and ate ALL of the insides!
And.. wow, there were a lot of cute Asian boys there. Thank goodness I had a bib.

The Movie "Knowing" with Nicolas Cage was pretty good, considering how much I lowered my expectations. It was very M.Night ShamalamadingDong in a bad way. If I were with my friends we would have been laughing because Nicolas cage was almost as bad as MarkyMark in "The Happening." It's really hard to do these types of disaster movies because they take themselves so seriously, yet cast such horrible actors.
My dad was on the edge of his seat, he loves these types of movies... hmm.. me too.

You should hang out with your parents more, you're lucky enough to have them.
Unless they pushed you to become a doctor/lawyer/engineer, those selfish assholes can go to hell for wanting you to succeed financially/intellectually and suppressing your creative nature and real identity.
Haha. No seriously, just for a day.

I got a postcard from Japan today and it made my day.

The Bump & the Bang
There's something in your eye.
Oh, ... Judgment.
Right, but some are more vocal about it. Yesterday, at SmokeEaters (formerly Cluck-U) by San Jose State I couldn't help but notice the plethora of skinny jean, flashy-t Urban-Ghetto Filipino boys and Amy Winehouse, slutty Vietnamese Girls. So... of course for half off chicken wings Tuesdays.
I call this. the BUMP and the BANG. I didn't realize so much hairspray was involved to go out and get chicken. God, I didn't have my camera.. and I was dying. I'll be sure to repost with some authentic images.
I love the cute Asian thick side bang with some highlights... but all of a sudden these bumps started to appear on girls' heads. Some of these bumps were HUGE! it made me suspect that they were hiding pot or multiple BUMPIT products!
Dude, what if one of those things fell into the Chicken Wings!?! "Girl, your BUMP fell out!"
Oh golly, so many bumps and bangs.. I couldn't get over it.
Nice bump gurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrl. It's the AZN thing to do.

Height Envy
I LOVE GETTING THINGS IN THE MAIL!
I just got another giraffe shirt from www.shirt.woot.com. The shirt JV suggested! LOOOOOVE IT! I love it so much that I made a video:
==
Speaking of height envy, I like boys who are taller than me so that I can tip toe when I hug them. Is that a bit gay? Yeah, STFU.

The Shirt Spoke to Me
Yesterday at the mall I walked into Banana Republic.
I immediately gravitated to a button up shirt that had orange, brown and yellow stripes. The shirt in front of me was the perfect size and when I put it on I felt like a million bucks.
I looked at the price tag: $69.00. That would make it the most expensive shirt that I own. I looked at Mony for advice. "Don't get it." "But I like it." "Then get it, done."
I was only mildly hesitant and examined the shirt. I found a loose thread. If I'm going to drop 70 bucks, it has to be perfect. I went to find another shirt, but the one in my hand was the LAST small.
I went to the register to pay. "$54." I was confused.
"Hey guys! It was 20 bucks off!" Apparently there was a sale...
it was meant to be.
(Trying out the goatee look.. and I still have a subtle faux hawk)
=============================================================
It's rare that I find clothes that I see and immediately like.
I realize that I go through phases
Tie Phase- Back in high school... I have like 30 ties, most of which are hideous
Bermuda Shorts Phase- They are SO ugly, I must have them
Board Shorts Phase- I have a full rainbow (minus orange, and my green went missing)
Cool Socks Phase- Why neglect my feet? And Szeto impresses me with his footwear
White Jeans Phase- Jackie Chan can pull it off, why not me?
Basket Ball Shorts Phase- I like looking sporty.
I realize though, that I'm impressionable when it comes to clothes. If someone says it looks good on me, I'll buy it (if the price is right). My cousin got me a shirt from H&M that she loves. ALL my boys thought I looked like a hot tranny mess. I bought a shirt that TonyIDM liked... and no one else really liked it either. Hmm, and I was starting to believe that I have NO taste is clothes what so ever... besides the clothes from Middle school that I still wear. But this Banana Republic Shirt proves otherwise.
I feel sexy in it.
=========================================================
Below are my favorite articles of clothes.
Shorts from Target.
The Shirt from Banana
Shorts from Aeropostle (I wore them out so much there are holes in the ass = x)
Tshirt from Vietnam

Poorly Planned Saturday (PPS)
Man. Nothing really worked out this weekend. But I had a good time trying to find something to do. Monyrith declared that Saturday was a mandatory hang out day for me and Szeto... hang out ... and do what? I guess, that was the poorly planned part.
1. Get our Cars Fixed
Time to do some hetero things! Like get our oil changed! My dad recommended this Asian place. Great price, but I couldn't understand them. Damn. At the end of the day I dropped nearly $200 so I wouldnt die on the road. My dad reassured me that they weren't shady. Shrugs... take my money, make sure my breaks work.
2. Distracted
There was a coupon at 711 and I was so distracted that I forgot to use it. I gave the cashier a sad face. He responded. "Don't worry! There's ALWAYS a next time!" In a strange 711 worker, swing shift, got held up at gun point... kind of way.. he was cute when he said this. Heh. I was amused.
3. Checking Out Lunardis
Monyrith picks up an orange juice. This soccer mom (sort of) on the phone looks at monyrith and says. "That orange juice is Fabulous." She grabs a big jug, puts it in her cart and walks away continuing her phone conversation. Monyrith was too slow to respond or rather, she was too quick for anyone to know what just happened. So there was only one thing to do: Buy the orange juice. And yes, it was fabulous because it was like eating orange juice. Pulp everywhere. Heh.
4. Dance?
Mony told me about this dance workshop by this Christian dance group Eight Count. "To glorify God through the art of dance." WOOT! And I sort of wanted to go, but it was PPS so I was wearing flip flops. Damn. Plus we wanted to watch The Eye at the time. I guess, I was hoping to make up for my Funkanometry fiasco on Friday. I'll elaborate when the video is uploaded. =X.
I called the guy that invited Monyrith later that night to see how it went. He was very Christian friendly. And he told me it was fun and that it was packed! Aww man. "Don't worry! There'll be a next time." Heh.. interesting.
5. Parking in Asia
At McCarthy Ranch (Asian Side) during lunch time, the parking lot is ridiculous. People start making their own rules. Seriously. If there was a fire, everyone would die because there is no order. People parked where ever there was a curb causing two line traffic to become one. When we finally found parking I yelled at Szeto to signal to claim it, but the spot was RIGHT in front of us, so it didn't make sense to signal right OR left, so there was only one thing too do: flash the high beams! "That's mine bitch!!!" HAHA And it worked. Crazy McCarthy Ranch.
Oh, and this lady was selling bok choy and eggs on the side walk. WtF?! I guess because it was PPS.
5. Desperate and discouraged
Monyrith ditched us for another boy and Szeto and I desperately called San Jose kids to hang out, but unlike us, they weren't celebrating PPS. They actually had plans. (Like hanging out with their mom. Psh) And the rain discouraged us from going downtown. (Plus the new $2 fee for parking in downtown San Jose. RIDICULOUS). I did want to go to Berkeley for the Queer Culture Show meeting, but it was raining and my car was still in the shop. Damn it, damn it. So after Szeto dropped off Mony and came back, we visited my work place, then headed to ... the mall.. how depressing.
5. Oakridge Mall
Szeto and I were perturbed at what high school kids were wearing. So I took some pictures. LOL
Case 1: Michael Jackson Thriller meets Dorothy? Maybe she wanted to be louder than the movie. Wow. Please click to zoom in.
Case 2: Skinny Jeans sagging? It may look okay from far away, but this kid had problems walking becuase 1. his jeans were too tight and 2. they were BELOW his ass. Okay. I sag sometimes, but... this is just disgusting! If you zoom in, you can see that his jeans squeeze BELOW his butt. How is this comfortable? Plus, he was walking like an oxyMORON.
6. Movie
When Mony decided to join us at the mall we concluded that paying $10.25 to watch the Eye may not be smart. So we decided to watch The Invasion that my parents already rented! Sweet! The movie was great, the ending was abrupt. But it was the only thing that went right today.
Yay, happy PPS.
To avoid PPS, we shall plan something at http://www.jumpskyhigh.com/ That's right a room full of trampolines at $9 an hour!!! Can you imagine?! mUAHahaha.. The Fun Never Stops in San Jose.

"People need to do better at staying alive!" -Alysia
In addition to my Aunt, my friend's grandma passed away during the storm when the electricity went out and her oxygen flow stopped. She was very ill, but nonetheless, it was still a tragic incident. My other friend's uncle passed away and my boss' father passed away too. Like the fence in front of my house... you can never assume that it could hold up against a storm.
Embarrassing Sex Story
K, I'm going to tell this story because it's too good to forget! My friend was having sex in the guest room and shooed his mate away before his parents woke up. Too tired to clean up, he left his mess for the morning and headed to his room to retire. When he woke up to clean, he discovered that everything had already been cleaned.
His dad confronted him.
"Did you have Sex last night?!"
"Oh, no"
"Were you masturbating...?"
"mmmm ... yes... I was......"
Now his parents think he masturbates in the guest room.... with a condom. HAHAH!
Home Cooked Meals
You know. I'm really lucky. When I come home, dinner is ready. And not just any dinner, but a really good dinner. Today I had a quesadilla and Vietnamese noodles! My Asian American stomach was greatly satisfied. Nothing like home cooked meals.
Menu
When I was at Northern region Pho style place I noticed something on the menu. Hmmm.
Fashion POLICE!!!!
I don't feel as bad about what I'm wearing when I see these people.
BTW. CROCS ARE THE UGLIEST THING IN THE WORLD!!!
THEY PISS ME OFF SO MUCH BECAUSE PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE COOL WHEN THEY ARE NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT!
Check out these Fashion Police videos I made at Berkeley.
I know I'm weird.
My Room
I organized my closet with these boxes from Michael's that cost $1.66 each!
And I'm trying to do some cool frame arrangement. Mony helped me lots. What do you think?
