YEE HAW!

I was picturing hot guys and gals in cowboy hats and riding an electric bull like Dukes of Hazzard.
What we got was a senior citizens meeting.

You know, I'm not a fan of country music, but it's a culture that I have yet to explore!

And it was fun!
We learned the Cowboy ChaCha, but bounced pretty early when it got seriously complicated- after we got the electric slide in of course.

It was interesting to see the Asian older folk line dance. Yee HAW!

Gosh, I love cultures.

The man who took the group picture offered his cowboy hat and I enthusiastically put it on. He responded, "it was for the lady." OOPS! DUH!

Dude, look at my hair in the video. It looks like I have a flattop, you know, like the Fresh Prince of Bel Air!

Preparing for Vietnam

I bought my tickets.

From Sept 21st to Nov 9th, almost 2 months. I will be in Saigon, the city that I fell in love with when I traveled with my family in 2006. I vowed to return, but didn't realize that I would be coming back so soon and on my own.

Why?
Because I'm not motivated or inspired here. The obvious next point in my life here in San Jose is to find a job, but as I haphazardly "search for work," I find myself not wanting to return. I worked for 8 months, do I really want to go back to doing something I didn't love, understand or even enjoy?

No.

My mom said that have "feet that love to move."
It's true and I'm suffocated here even with great friends, loving family and weekend activities.

Am I escaping my problems? I don't think so. I'm doing something that I've always wanted to do and taking advantage of my time.

After all, what am I doing here?

Why Not Longer?
You know what... I might not return, but I have three things I must attend: MoAny's Birthday, Family Thanksgiving and Ignia Snow Trip.

I talked to my medschool friend who was there for 2 months for research last summer and told me he was bored out of his mind. I think it's because he's a boring person.

Left to Do
Project Michelle: She hasn't found a match and the team is holding a SUPER Drive at Berkeley September 17-18 on Upper Sproul, the Campinille and the Super DC.

Video Blog Take Two

Ironically, I think my first video was more interesting.

I'm just trying to get used to being in front of a camera and failing miserably.
Sigh.

Monyrith told me not to Video blog until I have something REALLY interesting to say.. otherwise, it will suck. Hehe... so I'm going to just leave it at that. Woot.

So... I'm no KevJumba or Chris Crocker (thank god) or whatever Youtube characters there are... but I decided just to keep an open mind and try it out.

God, this is SO awkward. Now you guys know what I look like at 11:30pm.
Maybe I'll do something creative, but at least I'm trying. Eventually Mony and I will do a puppetshow. Maybe this friday.

Okay... I call this a trial run.
No special effects, no script, just... awkward.
