Everything is Documented

It’s often said that we live in a permissive era, one with infinite second chances. But the truth is that for a great many people, the permanent memory bank of the Web increasingly means there are no second chances — no opportunities to escape a scarlet letter in your digital past. Now the worst thing you’ve done is often the first thing everyone knows about you.

Perfect!

Observations on the Bus:
I get on at the beginning of the route so that I can get a seat and read blogs.  My roommates pointed out that the people of color are traveling towards the West for work because they are service workers to the wealthy.  And JV was right, a cute boy wearing a cute hat did get on the bus today, I wonder if he's into someone who looks stressed.

Portland - Sunday - Flying

In addition to biking around the city of Portand, Oregon, we flew.

We flew to the "Saturday Market" on Sunday.  Hmm. Portland is strange.

Then we checked out Pittock Mansion.

I found the servant laundry room and whispered loudly to Diana, "this is where I'd be working."  And the tourist next to me started to chuck.  To his wife he said, "he said 'this is where he'd be working... because he's Asian!!"  I got awkward and left.

This shower has a bidet... awesome!

Then we flew to a hiking tail where I twisted my ankle

Then we flew to a Rose Garden

We were on an adventure to find our matching colors.

Dinner was homemade Indian food and a Spinach, Tomato, Mozzarella, Salami appetizer.

Fucking Hipster Cat

All White People, Get off the Bus

Taking the bus in LA is like.... taking the bus in any other city.

It added 20 minutes to my commute, but I was glad to experience something that a fair number of Angelinos have not had the opportunity to experience.

It was an interesting transition heading from east to west in public transportation.  There were no white people on the bus.  In fact, the closest was a light skin latino lady.  When I got off the bus in mid city, I walked through Park La Brea which is this over price housing neighborhood where you will find a bunch of C list celebrities and weathy young professionals.

On the streets were people walking their dogs in their PJs at 8:30AM.  They were all white.

It's nice to have this option as my truck is no longer available.  We'll see how I do tonight as the streets will be packed with traffic and my patience will wear thin.

Blatant Anti-Asian Racism on Gay Websites Still Exists

I find the blatant anti-Asian racism on gay websites hilarious!

Check out this article.

The other night at MJ's Bar an Asian guy legitimately won the hot body contest.  The crowd went went wild as he gyrated for their applause.  The MC announced, "...mmm I crave some wonton soup myself!"

My group of Asian friends groaned.  The Asian guy had a great body, cocky smile and a killer butt that he shook at 8.5 magnitude in his speedo.  Sadly he looked without personality, but he also looked like he was used to being on a stage slash objectified.  We watched as he rubbed up against this white? Latino? guy with disinterest.  Congrats, $1,000 in your hand and someone to appreciate your wontons.

It makes me wonder, as a gay Asian, would I prefered to be objectified or disregarded as having any worth.  Meh, I wouldn't want to be targeted by these mainstream gays anyway.  And I think wonton soup is a very endearing pet name.

It makes me sadder when I see an Asian guy say, "white guys only."

Check out this old article from the same writers that talks about Gay Interracial Relationships: On Being “Sticky Rice” and Loving Other Asian Men.  I find it very interesting.

Oh,  below is a real conversation I recently had, IT'S SO FUNNY!!!!:

I was wondering if I had special pheromones.

Vacation in WeHo

I resent mony for finding my wonderful Victorian home on the east side too filthy to stay at. But as I lay beside this unpopulated swimming pool at mony's hotel in weho I am thankful for his lavish spending habits. I'm beginning to appreciate his 'keep it simple, keep it easy, here's a wad of cash' policy.

What a wonderful vacation in West Hollywood. My boys from yay area are still sleeping- recovering from a tame night that lasted until 3:30am. Nothing is planned for the day and the only thing to stress about is how I forgot to put on sun screen.

Beats going to a crowded beach 10 fold... Beats my labor day weekend itinerary outline that I gmailed to everyone by millions.

Portland - Umbrella

In Portland it doesn't usually rain hard enough for you to need an umbrella. We used our garage sale purchased umbrella as a backdrop.
