March 30 (Sun)- Disneyland's Club33

Alysia called me a couple of weeks back inviting me to Disneyland's exclusive Club 33.
"A ONCE IN A LIFE TIME OPPORTUNITY!"
Well, if you put it that way, I'd be an idiot NOT to go.

On Sunday we had a Disneyland adventure. I was having an okay time, I've been to Disneyland enough that it failed to amuse me as much as it did before. I was greeted at the door with a bit of blatant racism. Well, I was more of a witness.

There was some delay in the entry lines and I turned back to see what the hold up was. One of the workers called management because one of the season passes did not belong to one of the kids. To this the father declared, "NEVER TRUST AN ORIENTAL!!" He was pissed.

Well then. I was about to confront him, but then I realized that his redneck-ism was not worth my time. But at Disneyland? Come on!

The rest of the day was nice. I oddly didn't take that many pictures. We waiting in line for the Finding Nemo ride. Not worth the wait, but still cool.

It was only at night when I was at the club that I realized how lucky I was.

Tower of Terror:
California Adventure Photo Opp.:

Sandy and Boyfriend walking into the sunset... Alysia pushing Janelle in her wheelchair.
(Cough* our ticket to the front of the line.)

And of course another fashion offender. IS THAT YARN!?!?!

Club33:
After gallivanting in Disneyland, we changed into our semi-formal wear, and headed off to the Pirates ride not knowing what to expect. After a quick ride we searched for the door to Club 33.

Smyr told me that to get in, we had to knock three times and say Donald Duck as the entry code.
My eyes lit up, "REALLY!?!?" He was joking.. I was angry.

According to the unofficial website, Club 33 is not open to the public. The approximate wait list to join the club is 14 years and the membership fees are.. yeah really high. We were lucky enough to have a dinner arranged by a member of the club. We were all nervous because it was a privilege. We had an entire dinning room set aside for our party of 17 and it was fancy Fancy FANCY!! As the host said, "this is actually Walt Disney's dining room," Janelle turned her head to me and started to cry. Wow.

Janelle's anxiety attacks and back pains seemed to vanish. It must have been Disney magic.

Our host told us story after story and everyone was being extra polite. The food was fantastic. I was really stiff, arms crossed no crumbs etc. Alysia motioned to me not to take too many pictures.

The club was also the ONLY place in Disneyland where alcohol was served. I of course, did not hold back.

After dinner we wandered the building. There was an elegant elevator and the host explained that Walt Disney wanted to buy the elevator from a hotel in France. The French said no to all his offers. So Walt sent his engineers to the hotel to study and recreate for him. Amazing.

Fireworks could be seen from the balcony and the party guests went crazy over exclusive club 33 gifts that could not be purchased anywhere else. Aaron, took the opportunity to grab some souvenir napkins.

I felt like a movie star and everyone was in a feel-good moment. We graciously thanked our host and managed to squeeze a couple of more rides after the elegant dinner. That's right SPACE MOUNTAIN in our hot attire!

Hehe. Yeah, I'm a lucky bastard.
That concludes my So Cal trip take 2! LOVE IT!

Life's Kicking My Ass; I Retaliate

It was very difficult to wake up this morning.

Last night I focused on trying to get my life together. And it started with cleaning my room. I thought about Damien and MoAny and the VP sales who all believe that clutter holds us back. I examined my room and found that, clutter was what had become my definition.

I bought a container for my scrapbooking materials so I don't have scraps on the floor and stored it. I put stuffed animals in a shoe box because they never really served as decorating purposes, but rather as sentimental childish feelings that belong in a closet. I found magazines and put them in the bathroom because that's the only way they'll get read. I made a file for "body care" and filed images of cool hair, dermatologist appointments and better living documents under my desk.

(My skin is looking great, in my opinion now that I'm using black people skin products! Also, looking in the mirror a lot less helps too and washing my face before I put on my contacts. I have flawless skin with my nearly blind vision.)

I made my bed, cleared my desk and went to the gym. I did some cardio and abs. When I got home I showered and examined myself in the mirror, shirtless. Not too bad. My body is resilient. Eat eat eat, work out once... back to normal. But I've been eating substantially less portions. Food no longer excites me... I have become picky with food and boys.

It's interesting how I let projects linger.
Like an unfinished painting, my life has become just that.
MoAny bought me frames and a shelf for me to decorate my room and the materials have been hiding under my bed and desk for months. I know what needs to be done, but something keeps me from proceeding.

I must overcome this obstacle. I must become something that I am proud of... Nick (who is going to NY to persue his dream at a culinary school), in a drunk state reminded me that I was meant to do great things. And that I just need to find that place where I belong and complete that piece of me. I have the tools... I should get to work. And it starts with putting pictures on my wall before the materials that were handed to me gather too much dust.

Do You Have a Brother?

I was on thefacebook, playing with the new chat feature etc.

I stumbled upon one of my OLD crushes. He has interesting features, he's sort of weird looking. You know, one of those crushes that you don't know WHY you have a crush on. He rarely updated or had any pictures, but I found some images that I haven't seen.

Upon further inspection, I noticed a guy that was twice as HOT as he was in a photo album.... to my excitement, it was his brother! Next to him, my original crush looked like a gremlin. >.< LOL.

You know a lot of people don't realize how hot they are and even MORE people don't tell people they are attracted to them. But wouldn't the world be a nicer place if we were more honest with each other. But then again, playing "the game," flirting, etc. is based around the ambiguous tension of possible attraction. Being too honest will kill mystery.

At the same time, people want to get compliments from time to time... maybe I SHOULD message him. Haha. Probably not.
====================================

I almost died.

After working out at the NEW 24 Hour Fitness in Willow Glen, I headed to Kinkos to laminate a childhood poster. In the parking lot was a shady guy who looked like he was on drugs, selling drugs or looking for drugs. As I parked, I looked for my wallet and I noticed him walking towards me. I couldn't find the wallet and took that as sign to get out of there. I put my key back in the ignition and drove forward without looking back.

I was thankful that I wasn't my stupid self and got out of the car. Goodness. It's good to listen to your instincts...

Car Sex

Making out in a Car?
That's classy.

I drove to Michael's to get some scrapbooking stuff and I found a parking spot next to this tinted car. I look to my right there's a girl probably in high school, leaning towards the driver's seat. NOT TINTED ENOUGH!!!

She glared at me because I apparently disturbed her not-so-Michael's-friendly activity.

ALRIGHT!

Well, first of all, I'm a bad driver so I was parked about 20 degrees more than I should be and there was about 1 foot between my truck and the shady car. It was TOO late to repark because I had turned off my engine and I played it cool by grabbing my phone and stuff without staring at her. Slickly leaving the situation was very difficult. I had to squeeze my fat ass pass their window and hold onto my door because I didn't want to hit theirs.

Come on people. If you are going to be making out in a car go to a park. Or a neighborhood. NOT the parking lot of Michael's which was 2 hours from closing. To make it worse, it shared the parking lot with the local dollar store.

Like I said... Classy.

It reminded of MY car make out sessions back in the day. I mean, it makes sense, where are you supposed to get some privacy at that age? I usually parked in a dark location in the neighborhood and maneuvered around the steering wheel and the seat belt buckles. One time, I was getting pretty into it and I slipped and fell on the horn. Perfect way to wake up the neighborhood.

Another time I was caught with my pants down by a cop. Wait, that was my friend. HAHAHA!

I told Alysia that she's not allowed to lose her virginity in a car. That goes for all of you!!

Please hold off on sex... in a car. Have it in a bed, or kitchen table.

March 29 (SAT)- Planetium, Planet-sized Burritos, and Planetal Charades

Alysia being the best host ever made us Dutch Babies. She managed to hit her back against something that was protruding from the wall. Oh Alysia. I ruined her dish by adding ketchup. Hehe.

Smyr and I felt like being snotty. mmm'yess.

Alysia drove us to the Griffith Planetarium! Check out the view! Alysia is pointed to where she got caught on the fence last time she went hiking here.

Inside, we got our learning on! The most interesting things was this giant Periodic Table with the elements in light-up cases. Secondly, there was this... um thing that was basically a giant camera. I don't feel like explaining it.

Tom and Jon met up with us and we took a hike to the highest point of something.
BTW, Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus.

At the TOP! The view was gorgeous. We saw the genera LA area.. and it was miles of city. Wow.

Coming down.

We then returned to the planetarium and sat in to see a show about the universe. It was the best nap of my entire life.

Janelle was being a debbie downer. We were driving through a tunnel and I said, "everyone hold your breath and make a wish!" To this she responded, "My wishes don't come true anyway!" WHommmP WHoommmmmmp!!! I proceeded to laugh at her ridiculous comment. Luckily we were heading to El Tepeyac because we were all getting a bit grumpy with out food in our systems. El Tepeyac is one of east LA's hidden treasures. Home of the baby sized burrito.

For 8 dollars you can get your own 10lb burrito. Alysia and I shared a enchilada style monster. Tom was challenged with finishing the whole thing in one sitting! I wrote on his box that he would be a failure if he didn't finish it! Alysia pleaded that he not get sick and throw up the thing. LOL.

Alysia's backyard where Alysia has a lot of Rosemary plants. This is what Sandy said that made me laugh for hours. "Hey Tom, do you want some rosemary? Alysia has a big bish!" HAHA! I know, I'm obnoxious.

Charades
That night we played charades. I love charades. Here are a couple of highlights.
Danny doing antlers, Alysia doing tank or dump truck? haha, and Smyr doing parasailing or soilder boi? I really didn't know what I was doing, but look at my Donald Duck hair!

YAY! The next day was Disneyland! :D
