This is a Story of My Obviously Gay Life that You Guys Find Amusing

Gay at Work
"So Chris, who are you bringing to the Christmas party?"
"I don't know who to bring."
"Well, you could bring a girlfriend.... OR a boyfriend even"

I smiled. Apparently, I left the 12' rainbow flag hanging from my back pocket going to work.

Gay over the Phone
Yesterday I got a message from someone off downelink.
I was in a friendly mood so I chatted with him and immediately I could tell he was fobby.
He asked if we could talk on the phone and since he was from New York, I said sure.

His broken English was frankly awful, but he was nice. He taught me a couple of Vietnamese phrases and told me how lucky I was to be born here with a small family. He was only one year older than me, but had responsibilities like a middle aged man. He told me that when he moved, they couldn't even afford socks and it was snowing. He checked my privilege.

He told me that I sounded very very very American and I told him that he sounded very very very Vietnamese. I was amused. He said San Jose people can't be trusted, but I was different because I was pretty open. I mean, if you ask, I'll tell you.

It doesn't hurt to be friendly.

Gay Over GCHAT
Michelle asked me for my numbers... so I'll tell you.
I've kissed 4 straight guys.... (pecks, make out, drunk, games)
She asked for ALL my numbers... and I must say, it's larger than I would want, but lower than you think. I guess, I'm proud of that. Yay.

This is the Story of My Awkward Life.

This weekend... man. This weekend has been interesting.

Table of Contents
1. I Love Managing People
2. You Have to be 21 to Be in a Sexually BLUNT Environment
3. Controlling Emotions
4. Just Do It... respectfully.

Chapter 1. I love Managing People
On Friday, I was presented with a challenge with very particular conditions, but I was able to manage 8 different people in a jam packed weekend. I drove 300 miles without a break in the safest manner possible and I made decisions that I feel were well thought out. After many phone calls, 9 pages worth of google.com/maps; my plan for the weekend was as follows:

Home->Marriott->Mountain View -> Dragon in SF -> SF State -> (SLEEP) -> Denny's in Daly City -> Daly City BART -> Downtown San Jose -> Berkeley -> (Sleep) -> Church in San Jose.

I was organized, I was proud of my efficency. I wrote times per destination to ensure that I got to where I needed to be. But... of course, carrying it out was a different story.

Chapter 2.. You Have to be 21 to Be in a Sexually BLUNT Environment
I feel bad for always dissapointing Huan when it comes to VSA. I act so proud of the club and supportive, but when he needs me I don't always commit. Huan called me to go the Banquet and IMed me about it a lot. He really wanted me there, but I had already made plans to go to Dragon to celebrate a friend's 21st Birthday. But life told me that I made the wrong choice because I had a horrible time.

The minute I arrived, I noticed that there weren't that many cars. I called the group I was supposed to meet and they said they had a problem. They had expired IDs and the bouncer turned them away. I knew the other bouncer and tried to pull some strings. He was nice and tried to help me. He told me they got in trouble a couple of months back, I told him I didn't want to burden him. But he gave me a proposition. They wanted about 40 bucks to sneak the kids in the back. But by the time I found a resolution, the kids were done and left for Berkeley. I felt like I failed. I was the wrong person to ask because I've never done that before. We're Berkeley people, this is NOT a challenge that should be able to whip us. The rest of the night, I was disappointed.

The music was bad and my friends got really wasted. Behavior that people expect from gays who go to Dragon, the GAY Asian Paradise South of Market, emerged. "I'd Fuck Him," "I Just Made Out for Four Guys," "See that Guy Over There? He's So Hot and a Good Fuck Too." And honestly, I was a bit disgusted. Am I like this when I'm drunk? Do I say these things? I'm probably worse. I danced with someone... more like he pushed me against the wall and bit my penis, I pushed him away and found myself looking at the clock. Why is Sex so easy, so blunt in the gay community... and why did I want NONE of it? I tried to dance, I tried to be fliratous, but I just did feel it. When we left and drove toward SF State to crash I decided that it wasn't worth it. I decided to just go home and I intentially slept alone.

Marriott-> Mountain View -> Dragon-> San Jose

Chatper 3: Controlling Emotions
When I woke up, my mood didn't shift. I was supposed to pickup Sally, Seyron, Lyell from Daly City BART, but obviously plans changed. But I didn't want to flake because I had already flaked on having Brunch at Denny's. Yes, Janelle who lives in SF wanted to have Brunch at Denny's. She assured me that it was THE BEST. But I've already been there a couple of weeks back after another Dragon night.

I decided to pick Seyron, Sally, Lyell up from the FREMONT BART, but I still had to arrange Saturday night. I considered why I was going to a collage afterparty...but now I was presented with an factor that made driving home a better choice.

My Brother's winter ball was that night and my mom had to pick him up at 11pm, but she'd be coming from the Evergreen Mountains on windy dark roads. My dad said nothing to prevent her from driving because he didn't want to leave the party in the Mountains. My dad was selfish and he did a good job at passing that character down to me. I made a decision. I will drive my friends back to berkeley, stay for the potluck and leave before the afterparty to help my mom. I would forever regret the day I passed an opportunity to prevent my mom from dying in a car accident.

While arranging things I discovered that my Brother needed a corsage. It was expensive and I told my mom that it's his fault for being so last minute. My mom said, not it's her's and I go.. hah, no. My brother mumbled from the halls, "so it's MY fault?!" I explode.

"Don't you DARE be RUDE TO MOM WHEN SHE IS BUYING YOU A CORSAGES AND BOUTONNIERE FOR 30 DOLLARS!! DON'T BE RUDE TO MOM! GOT IT?!" My brother was shocked, "GOT IT?!" He nodded. I was so pissed. ...................... then I felt bad.

I went upstairs to talk to him and he was crying over the sink.
"Look, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have yelled at you. I just hate it when you're rude to Mom. There's a lot of pressure, but I still shouldn't have been so mean. I'm sorry." My Brother's birthday is on the 10th. He's friends weren't committing... and his plans were falling a part.

"Christopher! Package for you!" I bought my brother the Avatar Series for his birthday off Amazon and it just arrived. I grabbed a gift bag... the closest gift bag I could find and put the DVD set in. I handed my brother the Easter Gift Bag. "Look, I'm sorry, please don't let this ruin your Winter Ball... here, an early Birthday present." My brother sat on his bed with his face in his pillow...discouraged, hurt, damaged. I put the gift next to him and sat at the kitchen table.

I slouched over and breathed heavily. I started to cry a little bit. Like how I failed to get my friends into Dragon, I failed at controlling my anger. Yelling at my brother for no reason... getting off at having the power to assert aggression... ruining his Winter Ball.. his Birthday. Making him feel like shit. Throwing away his birthday present because I needed to make amends. I needed to compensate for my failure. I sat there for 5 minutes, saying nothing... feeling everything.

My friends arrived at the BART station and the day went on. La Vics, Ice Skating, Christmas in the Park, Santana Row, McCarthy Ranch... I got lost a couple of times dispite the fact that I lived here. I held back my stress. I drove straight to Berkeley without going home and prayed that my Brother could put aside my shittiness.

San Jose -> Fremont BART -> Downtown -> Berkeley

Chapter 4: Just Do It... Respectfully
I called my mom. "Do you still need me at 11?"
"No, someone else will pick him up."
"Great! Then.. I might stay over in Berkeley."

Maybe I was being rewarded, but did I still want to stay? I graduated. Why am I going to an after party? I should just go home after dropping everyone off. Okay, if I'm welcomed, I'll stay. But if I can, I will drive home, to be home.

At the potluck people asked me how I was. I had nothing really interesting to say. I felt disconnected. I took pictures. I talked to people that I have little history with. The most meaningful conversation I had was with Azu, because she's an OG like me. She means something a little more to me because we had more history. I missed everyone who wasn't there that much more. I missed being the young one that everyone took care of. I miss blaming my mistakes on being naive. But I'm no longer naive... I'm an OG... I take care of people even though I'm bad at it.

I took a walk with a friend and he asked me to be honest. I was surprised because he put things into perspective. I played with his mind during our conversation, but decided to be honest and called him later. Let's not Fuck with people's minds tonight. He appreciated it.

I got comfortable. People started to drink heavily. I was impressed that there was no peer pressure. People took shots of water to be included. They danced if they wanted to, they sat if they didn't, but they loved being together. I drank more than I planned, but I tried to control myself. I avoided being obnoxious because of what I witnessed the night before. I am not a kid, there is no one to watch out for me and to prevent me from making mistakes. And then he walked in...

I have boy crush on this guy who has a girlfriend. I talked to him a couple of times and took a shot with him. He was friendly and touchy as if he were testing me, tempting me... sick bastard. He got really drunk and I walked him down stairs. I thought about him all day. And to be honest with you, he was one of the reasons I considered not going to after party. I was afraid that I would make mistakes... be too tempted. I was thankful that I was presented with a choice that would have benefited my mom. But with that out the door, I decided just to be careful and stay in Berkeley. I realized that I needed to behave responsibly.... but behaving responsibly doesn't mean doing nothing... at least that's what the alcohol told me.

He was about to leave. He was done. He drank a lot and was ready to go to bed. It was cold, but we were both warm because we were drunk. We were not inhibited thanks the social lubricant we had consumed.

As he walked away from me, I spoke up.
"Can I ask you a question?" I stuttered, but did not hesitate.
"yeah.."
"Can I get a kiss?"

He walked up to me to kiss me on the cheek I turned my head and caught half my lips... and he stepped back.

"Wait... um.. can I have another?" I was polite.

This time he came up to me and gave me a quick peck on the lips and walked away.

I was tripping out.
"Walk home safe! Call me if you need anything! You have my number!" I was a bumbling fool.

I walked upstairs and called him but he didn't pick up. I sat on the bench outside astounded by what I just did. I walked back to the party with a big grin on my face and no one noticed. What I do doesn't really matter anymore. I'm old news.

I crashed on the futon. I intentionally slept alone until JV stumbled next to me in the morning. I told him what happened; his responses were short because he didn't even remember what he did the night before... but he had someone to take care of him.

I drove home in time to shower and go to Church to celebrate my parents' anniversary. I spent the rest of the day with family. I laughed with my mom and dad and I hugged them more than usual. I told my mom she was beautiful and I kissed her on her cheek. I suggested lunch and I waited patiently while they ran errands. My brother hugged me for the DVD set and sent me funny text messages. He told me they did Soulja Boy at his Winter Ball and that pictures were expensive.

And I started to blog... and realized that in life we make decisions everyday... and we are the only ones that have the power to evaluate our choices based on what's important to us... and make choices that reflect the type of person that we want to be....

Berkeley -> HOME

I am mature. I am respectful. I am fun. I take care of myself.
And that was my thought process.
The End.

Now Why Would I Leave Home?

I had nothing to do at work until the LAST HOUR.
The boss was gone so everyone was screwing around and I was trying to plan my CRAZY Weekend!

I was making phone calls, managing 8 different people from different parts of my life, printing out 9 pages of google.com/maps adding TIMES in which I had to be there ensure that I did not make Mony late.

Ill tell you if I was successful after this weekend has ended.

When I came home I found this:

A beckon of light from the heavens.
Seriously, why would I move out?

December Thoughts

Days just fly by and it's already December.
My family got a tree and even my brother wanted to participate!
I always felt like my childhood was better than his: our cousins are my age and we did more family things like rent a movie every Friday, carve a pumpkin for Halloween or decorate the house for Christmas. But every year some tradition that my family used to have disappears.

"Did you want me to help put the lights on the house?"
"We don't do that anymore Christopher."
"oh.. Okay."

It makes me sadder for my brother because... I guess, I want him to experience the same things I did if not more. I took him driving the other day and he seemed to appreciate it. I live at home now and I should be more a part of the family.

====================================================================
Work has been interesting. I am now the account manager for Korea. Great. I don't know what the hell I'm doing. But hopefully I don't lose the company money.

I've been a bad boy this past week and I need to have more self control. I was really proud of where at was at for the past 5 months. But I really had no reason to be proud... to wait. I don't know what else to say about it.

I talked to Huan about a couple of things and he had a lot to say. "It's all in your mind, you have more power than you think." It was really nice getting advice from him because sometimes "you understand," but need to hear it from someone else. He played an overly concerned older brother which is what I need. He also told me to be careful. What I'm doing may be innocent, but to others, it's just shady. In this situation, Huan makes a good point and I should back up... so I will. Huan told me that "anh muon lam gi anh lam di," No shit, but the underlining meaning Huan presented was, "...but I'll be here for you if you need me" like he always has... <3

The other day, Mony ran into a guy from Starbucks he recognized from downelink. "CHRIS! The guy in there has skanky-ass-hoe pictures of himself on Downelink!" I recognized him too. He had some shirtless pictures among other things. I wanted to go inside and say, "Heey... you look familiar.... hmmm.. Oh YEAH! But you look different. Hmm, OH that's right you have clothes on!" And continue the conversation like I said nothing strange. I imagine him turning beet red in front of his boss. HAHA. Was that not the sort of attention you wanted? XD

I can't wait for the Ignia Christmas Party! It's going to be at SMYR'S Condo this year! SEND AN EMAIL YOU BASTARD!

NSU Voices Melts My Heart

While driving to work, I looked over the NSU Program that I didn't get a chance to read.

I absolutely loved the show. Every second I was squealing. I felt bad for the people sitting around me because I had to fan myself down after every skit/dance/monologue.

I love culture shows.

Why? Because it's an opportunity for people who have talent to showcase it. I was blown away by people who seemed shy and reserved, but on stage spoke with power and pristine.
And I was so proud and amazed.

I was sad though because everyone from my generation was in Japan. There were some people here and there: Azusa on stage, Amy with her boyfriend. But the two most important people to me in my class were not: Tofu and Vanessa. But yes, their love was in spirit.

If Chris were there he would have two things to say: 1. the program was on glossy paper. When he suggested it our year, I said NO because I thought it looked tacky. Well, they did it this year and damn, it looks so good. Sorry Tofu, my bad! And 2. They did sort of an Iron Chef Skit, which was Chris' idea, but left out one main point: The traditional group was supposed to FAN their rice, while the modern group used an electric fan! LOL! But of course it wasn't Chris' skit, because if it was, there would have been a Baachan in drag! :D

But from that skit I could not stop laughing at these lines that the Iron Chef said when she was judging the Spam Musubi made by the more assimilated group:

The spam tastes of the salty winds of the camps...Yet the rice is like the soft cushion of the future!& the seaweed reminds me of the vaaaaaast Pacific, dividing the Issei from their families in Japan.So much HISTORY and DEPTH!This is the MOST delicious dish I have tasted in ALL my years!It brings tears to my eyes.

What stood out the most were the Monologues. Sally moved me as she is "NOT satisfied with the NOW that she sees." Jaclyn & Keisuke touched my heart when they shared their origins. I remember last semester declaring Jaclyn's unique background! You guys! She's from Peru! This is IMPORTANT!!! And Lyell made me melt when he said, "Being Japanese American does NOT make me less Queer.. and Being Queer does NOT make me less Japanese American." His words hit me like a ton of bricks and his sexy points grew 10 fold.

The dances where hot and J.Crew was on fire. The piece had substance as it demonstrated a struggle against Oppression. Man, it was difficult, but it looked really amazing. I love J.Crew.

This year's show really slathered on the question of defining a community. By hearing different Voices it is apparent that the Japanese American community is a home for anyone who excepts it regardless of experiences or background. NSU celebrates diversity. NSU celebrates love for human experiences. NSU sets the standard... for real.

==================================================================
Afterward, I stole one of the props and took pictures with everyone. I felt a bit obnoxious, but I guess that's just me. I was sad there was no large group photo, but being there and remembering is good enough. My girls make me proud: Miwa, Colleen, Sally, Kim, Katie, Hana, Corrie, Jaclyn, Azu, Krystin, Katrina, Amy, Eulanca, Asaki and Sara. NSU is built on STRONG FEMALES. Like Lisa, Kozens, Kim and Lori... and I would have it no other way.

Nick, Haruka, Monyrith, Vince and I had a beer at Blakes like real alumni. I miss it all. I sat next to Dina during the show and we shared mutual amusement. They kept the line, "Do you like movies!" Which made me REALLY happy because it's been a line in the show every year since 2002. But Hiro did not end up with the girl during that skit which surprised me! But also made me happy because.. you know what? It's been done before.

I live for stuff like this. I live for culture, for pride, for awareness. I live to hear other people's stories and be surrounded by people who I love. I feel selfish, because I always want more. I want more culture shows. I want more Monologues. I want you to showcase your talent and blow me away. You may not think you're the best, but everyone has SOMETHING to offer. Live life and share it with others... don't let your story be silent.

No One Understands Me

Aww, Rainbow by my house.

How difficult is it to cut my hair? The girl that usually cuts my hair was in labor so I decided to just get a cut from someone new. I want long chunky spikes with a Razor cut. There's a picture on the wall that I pointed to. Messy long spikes. I removed my glasses before the cut and when I put them back on I had 3/4 inch spikes like an AZN high schooler.

WHY!? WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY ?!

Sigh. I guess I'm being punished for being judgemental. :[
But I guess, it's a new look for my hairchive. I realize that attractive people are attractive regardless of their hairstyle. So, it doesn't matter what hair I wear, I'm still gross.
===================================================================

Yesterday Mony & I went on a date :)
He paid for an expensive dinner and I tried to chase the waitress down and giver her my card by pretending to go to the bathroom, but caught her in the kitchen instead. Damn it, she already charged Mony. The other day Mony bought my family dinner too! Money ain't a thing to Mony and I don't know how to be like that. I have to quantify everything in my head.

How do you get into that mindset?
I'm trying to stop counting every cent and favor... trying to be a better person.

===================================================================

My Closet is Full of Ugly
Mony wanted to borrow a shirt and I warned him I have nothing good. "Don't worry, I'll find SOMETHING." He was more confident than he should be. "Chris... What is this?! OMG!!" "I told you, I can't dress myself." Mony was genuinely astonished at my closet.

Mony is my fashion consultant. I am his income consumer.

I am a flirt
At the party, I turned off the lights to encourage dancing and Lyell joked that I'm the creepy guy that graduated and comes to college parties turning off lights! Everyone pointed and said "CREEPY!" I was amused. When I had to go I hugged people for a long time because I do miss all of it. Sometimes I wondered why I came, but if I'm invited, I'll come. Why not attend things you are welcomed at? When I hang out with older gays, I feel unwelcomed... or not as cared for. These kids still at Berkeley never run out of love.

And flirting? There's no harm. I take pride in being very unregretfully flirtatous. I'm not creepy, just friendly. Sooo stop pointing your finger!!!! ;]

After the party I drove us back. On Santa Teresa in Mid-conversation I fell asleep and my neck snapped forward. My heart skipped a beat and I slapped myself. Fuck. I almost killed us.
===================================================================
Heart vs. Brain
He's everything you want. He's everything you need. He's everything inside of you that you wish you could be. He says all the right things at exactly the right time, but he means nothing to you and you don't know why.

Wouldn't it because easier if we had control over our feelings?

Two Days as a Business Professional

On Tuesday the VP told me that the company hasn't been utilizing me and that she wants me to do a presentation for our Korean Representatives whom are visiting the headquarters later in the week.

Well, updating contacts and fixing quotes has been boring me, so it's about time I do something more external sales. I confidently told her that it wouldn't take me that long to prepare so she asked me to do a mock power point presentation the next day. OMG. She asked me basic questions that I couldn't answer. "What else do we measure Chris?" "Thin Films" "No... what's the name of this company?" "OH OH Yes yes yes, we measure optical properties." Fuck. How long have I been working here? 4 Months? She was patient, but obviously disappointed.

During Thanksgiving my cousins' spouses talked about their first job and how horrible it was until 6 months in when it just all makes sense finally. But this reassurance didn't help me while I was on the chopping board. I did another mock presentation and did much better. When the Korean Representatives came, I was very nervous, but my presentation got pushed back until Friday.

On Thursday was a heavy presentation by others and a dinner with the boss and the reps at Santana Row. I didn't leave the office and drove straight to dinner. There was no parking and I thought I was late. There were awkward silences during the meal when the Korean Reps and my boss has nothing else to say. "Can I get the calamari appetizer?" We already had that for lunch and I decided to chime in, "Oh, Dr. We already had that for lunch!" My boss responds, "Then they can compare which one is better!" Great, now the reps think we have some sort of an obsession and I'm sure they were sick of it. I came home from a 8-9:30 work day and still had to do my presentation; at least I get treated to 3 full expensive meals... bah, my "extra" will never disappear!

With a Tie and nicely gelled hair, I stepped in the conference room shacking hands. My account manager told me. "You re going to be helping with the Korean accounts, so you need to get buddy buddy with these guys.. esp. during lunch" Maybe I'll get promoted faster than I thought, I better stop fucking around." (That's why I haven't been blogging.) We had another company meal at a Sushi place and my account manager warned me, "you drink Chris, right? We're going to be having sake, but keep it on the down low. It's just business, Koreans love to drink."

On the road, the application engineer asked us, "so how much do those threads that you guys wear go for?" Earlier he said I've been looking sharp. I guess he was impressed by how the sales team dresses. But thats sales.

At the Sushi place I found myself more comfortable than the day before because we weren't talking about the company. "How do you say cheers in Korean?" "Kampai!" Or something that sounded like Kampai! I reminisced about NSU. "Kampai everyone." I contributed to the conversation. "In Vietnamese we say, '1, 2, 3 IN!" The reps were amused. The account manager order 3 larger bottles of Sake and it was customary in Korea for people to pour each other's drinks. "This is a dangerous custom," the application engineer was intrigued. "Yes, in Korea we do business from Dinner to Breakfast drinking all night." The Korean guy next to me got blotchy red and poured me more. I participated by pouring Sake into others' cups. They talked about marriage, drinking, some business laughing in between. "If someone doesn't want to drink any more they flip over their sake cup..." I was able to decipher the general manager's thick Korean accent. I was a child in game made for adults. "HAHA, then we can just hand them the whole bottle!" The application engineer was a heavy drinker from Oregon. I decided that since I was presenting after lunch I should stop after 3 shots of sake, I flipped over my cup. "Can I order two more bottles of Sake?" My account manager was playing the game. Fuck... I evaluated the situation. I decided to flip my cup right side up. It's 1pm, it's business, I'm a business man. "Are you okay Chris?" "Yes yes, I'll be fine." I said that about three times. "Hey hey!" The application engineer lifted his cup. Everyone followed. Kampai......

Two hours later, 6 sushi roles and 5 lunch dishes, I was stuffed and tipsy after 6 shots of sake. I have a presentation. I noticed my account manager put on his seat belt for once and the rosary hanging from his rear view mirror. Catholicism wont protect you from drunk driving. I did a small prayer.

We made it into the office. Shit, the boss. I dashed into my cubicle and found a mint. I prayed that he wasn't going to sit in on my presentation. Okay, deep breath. Here we go.

I announced it was my first presentation and the Korean Reps clapped their hands with encouraging smiles. Sake made them very friendly; sake made me comfortable. Even with that, I was tripping over words and I talked really fast. They didn't bother to ask questions. Obviously I was the idiot without answers. 8 Slides later I was done and I took my seat. When they left I went to my cubicle amused at the whole ordeal and felt like a big man. But I still had 2 hours before I could go home.
====================================================================
The sales support asked me to print 2 documents double sided. Easy. She added a third document and since it was only 16 pages I printed it single sided. After binding everything I noticed the boss talking to sales support and IT. I walked up to him and handed him the documents. "Apparently Christopher likes to play by his own rules." His Iranian accent made him that much scarier. "I asked these to be double sided." "I'm sorry, the document was shorter." OHHhh "so because YOU think it's doesn't need to be double sided you can ignore what I said?" He was excessively harsh. "It's not subjective!" He wasn't yelling, but he was mean. The sales support noticed that my pride was shattered. She said to me, "it's okay." I nodded. The boss' sarcasm was 10 fold a normal person. "I misunderstood..." I had a good day, I stood tall acknowledging my mistake and moved on. But I was very embarrassed in front of every one.

I had two choices: be pissed and leave work or compensate for mistake. The company paid for 3 of my meals and I'm a slacker. Plus I developed business experience with overseas reps. My presentation was fine and I have a job. I decided to stay 15 minutes later to help prepare for the boss' trip to Japan. "If you don't need anything else, I'm going to head off. Have a great trip Dr." I was smiling through my teeth. He nodded and I could tell that he noticed that I was trying.

I rushed out the door trying to forget that the game starts over on Monday.
